      <image:title>Members - Grant Bryden</image:title>
<image:caption>President, Class of 2025 Grant "Mr. President" Bryden is a Neuroscience major who was born and raised in sunny Winter Park, Florida. A jack of all trades, Grant splits his silky, smooth voice between bass, baritone, and beatboxing and is almost always the odds-on favorite for a low solo. Sometimes, we wish we could clone him. With the departure of KB, he can finally lay claim to being the second-tallest member of Speak. In his free time, you can find Grant singing opera, working out, and playing basketball with friends. He’s the most alpha in the group because he benches 300. In the future, Grant plans to pursue a career in the medical field while maintaining his love for singing and performing whenever he can. Grant Big.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Members - Ben Matz</image:title>
<image:caption>Music Director, Class of 2025 Ben Matz is a bass from Baltimore, Maryland studying ECE who loves a cappella. Known for his soothing, deep, and ever so slightly raspy voice, Matz has one of the calmest demeanors in the group. With the departure of KB, he can finally lay claim to being the tallest member of Speak. His favorite hidden talent is the “Butt Tongue” (ask him). Despite the fact that he has to say “Every Good Boy Does Fine” and “FACE in the Space” out loud every time he reads treble clef, the senior has miraculously become Speak's Music Director. When he’s not singing, you can find Ben playing basketball, solving crosswords, and figuring out how to maximize his efficiency.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Treasurer, Class of 2026 No one in the history of the program has ever made the transition from rockstar to a capella look so natural. Hailing from Leesburg, Virginia (or as he dubs it, “Bumblef**k NoVa), Hunter has slid into the group with ease largely due to his gravelly, sultry voice. He’s notable for his abnormally high muscle density in both his triceps and his brain. In his free time, you can find Hunter doing integrals, wearing pants, snapping really fast, and making axolotl noises.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Publicity Chair, Class of 2027 Gavin is a Robertson scholar (of the UNC Variety) who can really bring the house down with his powerful pipes. He has 3 dogs back home in NY, plays tennis and pickleball, and stands at a very tall 5’ 6” (editor's note: that's a generous measurement). Gavin is also oddly good at lawn games. Perhaps it is because he is secretly a lawn gnome? In the future, he plans to become an English teacher, eventually becoming a principal or superintendent of a high school. Minipekka also hopes to grow to the size of Grant.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Alumni Chair, Class of 2027 Derrick is a Robertson Scholar (of the Duke Variety) who hails from the great city of Memphis, Tennessee. When he's not singing bass, you can find him benching 299 so that he can dance better with his chest. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, Derrick wakes up midway through his rendition of the National Anthem. He loves his Stars and Stripes. In the future, Derrick plans to either attend medical school or become a talking plant.</image:caption>

In his free time, Namit scrolls endlessly through shitty Instagram reels and writes love letters to his favorite politicians using ChatGPT. When he's not scootering into Speak rehearsals, Namit can be found pondering the eternal question: "Is it possible to sing in an Indian accent?" Namit looks forward to having a devilishly awesome time performing and hanging out with the group. We can't wait to show off his "moan-worthy" falsetto.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Class of 2027 CJ is a Tenor 2 from Pittsburgh, PA. He'll dazzle you with his devilish dancing and serenade you with his sweet singing. No one really knows what CJ stands for, but the general consensus is that it's probably "Cool Jouster." CJ is a lover of string cheese and hater of country music. His favorite activity is doing the Cotton-Eyed Joe (maybe that is what CJ stands for). When he's not busting a move, you may find him watching Phineas and Ferb or "napping".</image:caption>

      <image:title>Members - Jack "Mild" Clodfelter</image:title>
<image:caption>Class of 2027 Health Alert: Do you suffer from terrible allergies, poor sneaker choices, and a desire to read Latin literature? If so, you could have Clodfelter’s syndrome. Jack, a bio major, has loved music from an early age, performing opera and choir music since elementary school. At the time, he believed that a cappella was made for singers who didn’t deserve accompaniment, but changed his mind after attending a lively Speak concert. His smooth, sexy baritone voice is perfectly-tailored for mid-range solos. When he's not at rehearsal (which is often), you'll either find him boat racing at Lake Michie, testing the limits of sleep deprivation, or getting friend-zoned. Jack otherwise occupies himself by managing Duke Club Rowing, striving to become a physician, and learning about the wonders of Google Calendar.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Members - Henry Rodin</image:title>
<image:caption>Pitch Pipe, Class of 2025 Henry Rodin hails from New York, New York. You can tell because he'll tell you. His dulcet tenor tones are only surpassed by his apathy and laziness in rehearsal despite experiencing frequent back pains from carrying the tenor 2 section. Henry is majoring in psychology and is excited to diagnose the rest of Speak with a multitude of mental health issues stemming from the emotional trauma they've experienced at Duke.</image:caption>
